What did you think of animal collective? I was thoroughly underwhelmed. Didn't think it was great, have to say. Hope you weren't as disappointed as I.
Animal Collective have divided everyone haven't they? It was such a mixed bag. At times it was pure awesome and I got the feeling they would be beyond brilliant had Avey been able to pitch in. But waiting until 7 or 8 songs in to let us know his voice was fucked? Well thats a bit of a swizz in my opinion. Panda Bear good girl/carrots was super. But no fireworks, leaf house, peacebone, grass etc etc...Avey is my fave member of the collective too.
